DO NOT participate in polls except the National Census every ten years.
- Polls lessen the effectiveness of our individual votes.
- Polls are generally used by candidates to determine their positions.
- They enable a candidate to tell us what we want to hear, all in the name of getting elected. It becomes support helping them keep their public job and short circuits the common sense that naturally evolves from a fully voting public
- As a result, candidate positions on the issues often don't reflect their convictions.
- Debates become arguments over what the polls say when instead, they might help us find the truth through correct information and deliberation leading to the best decisions.
- Polls are no substitute for voting and common sense.
